Cabanas

The maximum number of guests included in the reservation price is 6. For groups of more, we recommend adding on another cabana. For large groups or events, please call us or email us at brook@floatintx.com!

INDIVIDUAL WHO BOOKED is responsible for their included guests. PLEASE ALL ARRIVE TOGETHER. Float In will not hold a list of your cabana guests.  Wristbands are REQUIRED at all times while on the property.  

When coming to the Comal River it important to know which dates/times are going to work best for your group.    Weekends and Holidays draw large crowds, with Saturdays being our busiest day of the week.  If you have young ones with you we strongly encourage you to book your visit during the week or in the slower months of operation.

Less Crowds: Weekdays and Weekends in March, April, May, August.  Cabanas are available to reserve for these dates and provide any excellent opportunity to enjoy with friends and family a more relaxing experience.  Bring the girlfriends out or the teenagers.  Come grill outside with your family in the heart of New Braunfels.

More Crowds: Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Week, Saturdays and Sundays.  Cabanas will book up on these dates, so you are encouraged to reserve yours today.  Please see cancellation policies below.

Yes, cabanas must be booked online in advance. Popular weekends and holidays book up quick so plan ahead! (Cabanas are not required for entry)

Smoker style BBQ grills. Wood is provided onsite. Charcoal, lighter-fluid, and lighter/matches are not provided, but recommended.

Yes, you are welcome to bring in coolers for your drinks and food. We charge a fee of $25 per cooler (includes cooler bags/backpacks). This fee is not included in a cabana rental. Coolers have a maximum capacity of 70qts. (70qts is quite large, if you are unsure of your coolers size, it likely falls under this limit). Please read our rules here to make sure your coolers and their contents meet river guidelines, if you take it on your float. 

The Float In’s cancelation policy is as follows and is subject to change:

• Within 24 hours of making the original booking: 100% refund or credit
• 7 + days before the reservation date: 50% refund or credit
• Less than 7 days notice before the reservation date: No refund or credit

A cooler or food bag is any item used to keep cool or bring in outside food and drinks. Hard side coolers, soft shell backpack coolers, food bags for picnics/grilling, etc. All Bags will be checked upon arrival for glass and styrofoam.  Please have any items in reusable containers if you are floating with your cooler.  The City of New Braunfels has strict policies in place regarding disposables items and trash.  Before taking your cooler into the river you MUST remove any and all disposable items; including ziplock baggies, cans, and trash.
